Apple is set to unveil its latest premium smartphones on September 9, with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max expected to headline an event that could also introduce the company’s first foldable iPhone.
The event is expected to mark a broader shift in Apple’s hardware strategy as the company prepares to introduce new designs, form factors and device categories over the coming years.
Among the biggest talking points ahead of the launch is the possible introduction of a new Dark Cherry colour for the iPhone 18 Pro series.
Apple has not officially confirmed the colour. However, reports and leaked dummy models have pointed to a dark red finish that sits somewhere between burgundy, coffee and dark purple.
The shade is expected to become the signature colour of the Pro lineup, following the role played by Cosmic Orange on the iPhone 17 Pro.
