The Nigerian Army has commissioned a new complex at the Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) in honour of the late Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, former Chief of Army Staff.
The facility was officially commissioned on Friday, July 17, 2026, by the current Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu.
The new complex is designed to strengthen training, administration, and personnel welfare at the college.
Speaking at the event, Lt. Gen. Shaibu reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s commitment to building institutional capacity through modern infrastructure.
“The complex will enhance professional military education and improve our capacity to support national security,” he said.
Shaibu added that the facility would provide a conducive environment for developing highly skilled logistics professionals capable of sustaining operational effectiveness across the Army.
