Barca sign teenager Bisiwu from Club Brugge for $10m

Barcelona signed teenage winger Jesse Bisiwu on Friday from Club Brugge for a reported 8.5 million euros ($10 million).

“FC Barcelona and Club Brugge have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jesse Bisiwu, who signs up to be a blaugrana until 30 June 2031,” Barca said in a statement.

The 18-year-old Belgian follows Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi in joining the Spanish champions this summer.

The Belgium youth international joins the Catalan club as one of the country’s brightest young prospects. Barcelona described him as a winger with “a great future ahead” because of his pace, strength and dribbling ability.

Born on January 22, 2008, Bisiwu has been a regular for Belgium’s youth national teams and rose to prominence at the 2025 UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he was named in the tournament’s Best XI after helping Belgium reach the semi-finals.

He began his youth career at OH Leuven
