CAC opens new Lagos office

The Corporate Affairs Commission has opened a new service office at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, to expand access to business registration and compliance services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises as part of efforts to improve Nigeria’s ease of doing business.

The new office, according to a statement on the commission’s verified X account on Monday, was commissioned on Monday by the Registrar-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Commission, Hussaini Magaji (SAN), and is expected to bring corporate services closer to entrepreneurs and support the Federal Government’s drive to formalise small businesses.

The initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s ongoing reforms aimed at promoting economic inclusion, improving the business environment and encouraging more businesses to operate within the formal economy.

The commission explained that the facility was strategically located to support President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s efforts to deepen formalisation of small businesses across the country.
