EV Automobiles and Balmoral Group have partnered to reward winners of the headline bouts at this year’s Chaos in the Ring celebrity boxing event with brand-new electric vehicles.
The two companies unveiled the vehicles at a press conference in Lagos, ahead of the boxing event scheduled for July 31 at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island.
Under the partnership, the winners of the bouts between Portable and Charles Okocha, and Mr Real and Idowest, will each receive a brand-new electric vehicle.
The initiative, according to the companies, is aimed at promoting Nigerian sports and entertainment while increasing awareness of sustainable mobility and creating opportunities for young Nigerians.
Speaking at the unveiling, Ned Okonkwo, chairman of EV Motors, described the partnership as the beginning of a long-term relationship between two Nigerian brands committed to supporting local talent.
