Real Madrid players finished as the most prolific goalscorers among all clubs represented at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, underlining the Spanish giants’ attacking dominance on football’s biggest stage.
According to FIFA’s tournament statistics on Wednesday, Madrid players combined for 22 goals during the competition, comfortably outscoring representatives of every other club.
France forward Kylian Mbappé led the way with 10 goals, winning the Golden Boot after finishing as the tournament’s top scorer.
England midfielder Jude Bellingham added seven goals, while Brazil winger Vinícius Júnior contributed four.
Turkish youngster Arda Güler completed the tally with one goal.
Together, the quartet accounted for more than seven per cent of the 308 goals scored across the tournament.
Mbappé’s exploits also saw him become the first player to finish as the World Cup’s top scorer at two consecutive editions after previously claiming the Golden Boot at Qatar 2022.
