
Edo State monarch, the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Michael Sado, has unveiled move to strengthen ties between the traditional institution and the communities,
In a statement issued on Saturday to outline activities marking his first year on the throne, the monarch said visits to ruling areas would enable him to bond with the people and ensure trust is established between him and members of the community.
According to the statement, the programme will begin on Sunday with a series of cultural, religious, and community development activities.
The statement read, “Preparations have been concluded for the first coronation anniversary of the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Michael Sado, with a series of cultural, religious and community development activities scheduled to commemorate his first year on the throne.
