The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has returned ₦108 million to Greenwich Planet Sun King Nigeria Limited after recovering the funds in connection with a fraud case involving two of the company’s former employees.
According to a statement from the EFCC, the money was handed over in bank drafts by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
The recovered sum was traced during investigations into allegations of abuse of office, forgery, stealing, and diversion of company funds.
The suspects, identified as Nkechi Gladys Megai, currently at large after fleeing to the United Kingdom and Godson Eze, a former Chief Financial Officer, allegedly forged documents, created fake invoices in the names of legitimate vendors, and diverted company funds through fraudulent transactions.
The EFCC noted that the fraudulent payments ran into several hundreds of millions of naira.
