Elizabeth Musa, a Nigerian media professional with experience spanning television, radio, print, content creation and podcasting, has emerged as the ‘Innovative Media Personality of the Year’ at the Golden Prestigious Icons Awards 2025, a recognition she says has reinforced her commitment to innovation, storytelling, and continuous professional growth.
Musa said she first learned about her nomination through social media and was initially unfamiliar with the awards platform. Rather than immediately embracing the recognition, she said she took time to research the organisation, understand the awards, and establish its credibility.
“I was notified through social media, and before then, I honestly didn’t know much about the platform or the awards,” Musa said.
“So my first reaction was gratitude, but I also wanted to do my own due diligence.”
