The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated three legal practitioners from Ilorin Emirate on their elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The monarch described the conferment of the prestigious rank as a testament to the recipients’ hard work, diligence and commitment to the legal profession.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Emir’s spokesman, Dr Abdulazeez Arowona.
The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee had recently approved the elevation of a new set of legal practitioners to the rank of SAN, the highest professional distinction for advocates in Nigeria, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to legal practice and the administration of justice.
According to the statement, the newly confirmed SAN-designates from Ilorin Emirate in the 2026 list released by the LPPC are the Kwara State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice,
