Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has approved the recruitment of 6,580 qualified candidates into various academic, technical and administrative roles across public primary and junior secondary schools in the state, with a strong focus on staffing the state’s 267 Smart Green Schools.
This was contained in a job vacancy advertisement issued by the Executive Chairman of the Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board, Associate Professor Hyginus Okibe Banko.
In the vacancy notice by our correspondent on Wednesday, the board emphasised that the recruitment forms part of the state government’s broader education strategy.
“In line with his administration’s commitment to providing the human resources required to drive the Smart Green School initiative and deliver quality education across the state, Governor Peter Mbah has approved the recruitment,” the notice read.
