The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has commended Governor Peter Mbah following the donation of 400 modern desktop computers by the Enugu State Government to strengthen experiential and digital learning, research and technology-driven education in the institution.
The computers, delivered on Wednesday, form part of the state government’s commitment to advancing experiential learning and equipping tertiary institutions with modern technological infrastructure capable of producing globally competitive graduates.
Receiving the computers on behalf of the university management, Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, vice-chancellor, described the intervention as another demonstration of Governor Mbah’s unwavering commitment to repositioning ESUT as a leading institution of innovation, digital education and academic excellence.
Okolie disclosed that 200 of the computers would be deployed to the ESUT College of Medicine, while the remaining units would be installed at the University’s 500-capacity ICT Centre located at the Main Campus, Ebeano City, Enugu.
