The Federal Government, through the National Space Research and Development Agency, has called for increased private sector participation in Nigeria’s space ecosystem to accelerate the growth of the country’s space economy.
The Director-General and Chief Executive of NASRDA, Professor Matthew Adepoju, made the call when he received a delegation from STUPH CHAIN LLC during a courtesy visit to the agency’s headquarters in Abuja on Friday.
Adepoju, who was represented by NASRDA’s Director of Media and Corporate Communications, Felix Ale, commended the company for its innovative contributions and efforts to introduce technology-driven experiences at the forthcoming Africa Space Economy Innovation and Communication Conference 2026.
He said strategic private sector engagement remained important to achieving Nigeria’s space ambitions.
“Strategic private sector engagement remains integral to advancing Nigeria’s space ambitions, and their effort towards adding value to the conference is a step in the right direction,” Adepoju said.
