The Joseph Ogogo Foundation has donated school bags, sandals and writing materials to no fewer than seven schools in Cross River State as part of its fourth intervention programme in 2026.
The donation took place at different schools in Obanliku Local Government Area of the state, as pupils received learning materials to support their education.
The Chief Executive Officer of the foundation, Dr Austin Ogogo Jnr, while speaking during the distribution on Monday, said the gesture was aimed at easing the burden on parents and encouraging pupils to stay in school and focus on their studies as the new term progresses.
He said, “Education remains the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and building a stronger future for children and their communities, hence our decision to intervene directly in schools shortly after resumption.
