Globacom intensifies network investment with fiber, AI push

Globacom has intensified investments in network infrastructure and digital services, unveiling a series of upgrades aimed at improving customer experience as the telecommunications company prepares to celebrate its 23rd anniversary this month.

The initiatives include the deployment of thousands of new 4G LTE sites, expansion of fibre infrastructure, upgrades to its core network and the introduction of new digital solutions designed to improve service quality and support the growing demand for voice and data services across the country.

The company said the investments form part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening network capacity and delivering a more reliable experience for subscribers.

Among the new initiatives is Gloria, an artificial intelligence-powered voice assistant integrated into the Glo Café platform.
