Gov Alia appoints Ngbajime as Benue Assembly Service Commission member 

Benue State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Dr. Anya Godwin Ngbajime, as a member of the Benue State House of Assembly Service Commission, subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.‎

‎The appointment follows the vacancy created by the removal of the former member, Dorcas Faeren Mbatiav, and is in line with the Governor’s commitment to strengthening governance through the appointment of competent and experienced individuals to fill vacuums in key public institutions.

‎Ngbajime, a core unionist is also a seasoned administrator and accomplished public servant with an impressive record of service.

‎He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Planning. He also has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration.

‎He began his career with the Local Teaching Service Commission before joining the Benue State Civil Service, where he rose through the ranks to become Chairman of the Benue State Civil Service Commission, serving with distinction from 2007 to 2015.

He served two terms as Benue state chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and two terms as state chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress

‎Alia expressed confidence that Ngbajime’s wealth of experience, integrity, and leadership qualities will contribute significantly to enhance the effectiveness and performance of the Benue State House of Assembly Service Commission.

‎According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor,Tersoo Kula, Gov Alia has forwarded Ngbajime’s name to the Benue State House of Assembly for confirmation in accordance with the provisions of the law.
