Gov Uba Sani: North Will Deliver Bigger Votes for Tinubu in 2027

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has declared that President Bola Tinubu will secure more votes from northern Nigeria in the 2027 elections than he did in 2023, citing the president’s record of development in the region.

Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time on Tuesday, Sani dismissed claims that northern voters would be swayed by religion, ethnicity, or tribal sentiments. 

He described as “the laziest argument” suggestions that the election would be a battle between the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Nigerian people.

According to the governor, Tinubu’s administration has delivered more for northern Nigeria than any previous leader, a claim he said was backed by data and statistics.

“It is a figment of imagination when people say the North will not vote for Tinubu,” Sani stated. “I can tell you categorically, as the governor of Kaduna State, that Tinubu will get more votes in 2027 than he got in
