Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, has hailed striker, Hamza Abdelkarim following his impressive display against Birmingham in a pre-season friendly on Friday.
Abdelkarim scored a brace as Barcelona lost 3-2 on penalties against Birmingham following a 2-2 draw at St. Andrew’s.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Flick said Abdelkarim is a very humble player who has good character.
“Hamza is very humble and has a good character. He always tries to give his best and has great potential,” Flick said.
“As a striker, you have to show up in those situations inside the box, and today he was there. That is what I ask of a number nine.”
