For most football fans, the end of the FIFA World Cup means the celebrations are over. The champions have been crowned, the final whistle has blown, and attention gradually shifts to the new club season.
For Samuel Nneke, however, the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup marked the beginning of a life-changing chapter.
On Monday, inside the Grand Ballroom of the Ikeja Marriott Hotel, Lagos, the Sokoto-based businessman was officially presented with the keys to a five-bedroom duplex valued at approximately ₦150 million, emerging as the grand prize winner of iLOTBET’s nationwide World Cup promotion.
The presentation ceremony, attended by industry regulators, business partners, media representatives and invited guests, brought to a close a campaign that ran throughout the tournament and rewarded participants with a range of prizes.
Standing before cameras with a symbolic key in hand, Nneke admitted that winning the promotion was something he never truly expected.
