Prominent Nigerian activist and chieftain of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Aisha Yesufu, has expressed strong irritation over Peter Obi’s recent Channels TV interview, describing it as repetitive and a waste of time.
Yesufu reacted to the Sunday interview conducted by Seun Akinbaloye with Obi, the NDC’s 2027 presidential candidate.
In the session, Obi addressed various national issues and his political ambitions, but clips circulating on social media drew mixed responses.
In a video posted on X, Yesufu said she felt frustrated because the conversation offered nothing new. “I absolutely feel irritated by the whole thing,” she stated.
“Usually when Peter Obi grants an interview, there is this excitement about what he is going to say. For this particular one, and maybe going forward, it is the feeling of irritation because what are we doing here? It is the same conversation every time. There is nothing he said that has not been talked about.”
