IPAC Commends Akwa Ibom Governor Over CNG Buses, 350-Bed Hospital

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Akwa Ibom State has praised Governor Umo Eno for delivering 20 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses and unveiling the new 350-bed Ibom International Hospital, describing the projects as lasting legacies for future generations.

Speaking to journalists in Uyo after the State Projects Delivery Meeting, IPAC Chairperson Hon. Blessing Umo said the initiatives reflect innovation, foresight, and a strong commitment to improving citizens’ welfare.

She noted that the CNG mass transit scheme marks a major milestone in modern, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly transportation. 

“This is not just about expanding the transport system; it is about embracing innovation, reducing costs, and positioning Akwa Ibom as a leader in clean energy mobility,” she said.

On the Ibom International Hospital, Umo described it as a bold investment that will transform healthcare delivery across the state and region.
