Ivorian startup Ecobyke has joined FasterCapital’s EquityPilot programme to help it scale its electric bike, scooter and trotinette services across major African cities.
Ecobyke is a micro-mobility startup founded by Pierre Junior Assi that designs and operates shared electric bicycles, electric scooters and trotinettes for urban environments in West Africa. The company emphasises locally-managed operations, remote fleet controls and low-emission transport alternatives.
The startup has been selected for the EquityPilot programme run by FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator dedicated to co-funding and co-founding innovative startups, which will focus on execution milestones and go-to-market readiness to prepare Ecobyke for regional rollout.
EquityPilot will concentrate in the first 30–60 days of work on refining operations, product-market fit, and early commercial processes. The immediate aim is to convert Ecobyke’s strategy into executable milestones with advisor and ecosystem support.
“We’re excited to support Ecobyke through EquityPilot. Our team will focus on execution milestones and connecting the startup with the right ecosystem stakeholders,” said Hesham Zreik, founder and CEO of FasterCapital.
