Comrade Timi Frank, a former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has raised the alarm over an alleged coordinated plot by the Presidency, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and elements within the judiciary to remove the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from the ballot ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Frank warned that any such move would constitute a direct assault on Nigeria’s democracy and could push the country into chaos and anarchy.

He gave the warning in a statement issued on Monday, June 29, 2026.

Frank claimed that credible intelligence available to his team points to the ADC and its presumed presidential candidate, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, as the primary targets of a scheme designed to cripple the opposition and entrench a one-party state.

He described the recently prominent Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as a mere decoy in the alleged plan.
