
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has approved a major shake-up within his administration, affecting several top political appointees and key government aides.
The development follows a cabinet restructuring announced on Monday, signalling fresh changes within the state government as the administration moves to reposition itself.
The reshuffle affects all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, as well as the Deputy Chief of Staff and the Principal Private Secretary to the governor.
The announcement was contained in an official statement issued by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood Agboola.
According to the statement, the exercise is aimed at strengthening governance and creating room for broader participation within the administration.
“Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved a minor cabinet shake-up involving all Special Advisers, Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants,” the statement read.
