Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated the Emir of Kano, Khalifa Muhammadu Sanusi II, on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi DawakinTofa.
The governor described the monarch as a visionary leader whose wisdom, courage and commitment to justice continue to inspire generations.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf celebrated the Emir’s remarkable contributions to nation-building, education, economic development and the preservation of Kano’s rich cultural and religious heritage,” the statement said.
He noted that Emir Sanusi’s lifetime of service has earned him admiration both within Nigeria and across the international community.
