Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has said that his administration’s allocation of plots of land to citizens is aimed at reducing the housing deficit, creating wealth for families, and laying a solid foundation for a better future.

Recall that the recent decision by Yusuf to allocate 1,540 plots of land and N100 million to leaders of the All Progressives Congress Polling Unit Supporters Association, otherwise known as Yan’akwati, came under strong condemnation from residents, who described the gesture as a bribe ahead of the 2027 general elections.
