The Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government Administration, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development has commended the quality of projects executed by the Bariga Local Council Development Area administration.
The committee, led by its Chairman, Sanni Ganiyu Okanlawon, gave the commendation during an inspection tour of infrastructure and people-oriented projects carried out by the council under the leadership of its Executive Chairman, Adedeji Bukola Omope.
According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the chairman, Tunde Balogun, lawmakers inspected several projects across the LCDA to assess their quality, impact and value to residents.
Speaking during the exercise, a member of the committee representing Oshodi/Isolo Constituency 1, Hon. Ogundipe, said Bariga LCDA ranked among the best performing councils in the state based on the volume and quality of projects executed.
