Lagos seals 20 properties in Ikeja for planning infractions

The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, has sealed over 20 properties in Ikeja Local Government Area of the state for various physical planning infractions.

Announcing this in a statement on Thursday, LASPPPA explained that the move was part of its ongoing efforts to enforce compliance with the state’s physical planning laws and regulations.

According to the statement, the enforcement exercise was led by the Permanent Secretary, Office of Physical Planning, Olayinka Wasiu, alongside the General Manager, LASPPPA, Kehinde Osinaike, and directors of the agency.

“The affected properties, comprising landed properties, uncompleted buildings and structures with unauthorised extensions, were found to be in contravention of the Lagos State Physical Planning Law,” the statement read in part.
