Kehinde Ayeni, executive director of LEAP Africa, has said that the Leadership Accelerator Programme (LAP) of the organisation is aimed at bridging the leadership gap among African women to create community impact.
“The Leadership Accelerator Programme was created to intentionally bridge the leadership gap among African women. We believe that investing in young women today is investing in Africa’s future,” Ayeni said in a statement.
This follows the successful conclusion of the fifth cohort of its Leadership Accelerator Programme (LAP) for Young African Women, which was also the programme’s first ever physical boot camp in Nairobi, Kenya.
Developed and implemented by LEAP Africa, the LAP was established to bridge the leadership gap in Africa by equipping young African women with the knowledge, skills, networks, and confidence to lead with purpose and drive meaningful change across the continent.
