Liberia has finally pulled the plug on StarCell. After months of warnings, suspensions, and missed deadlines, the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) has officially revoked the telecom operator’s licence and spectrum authorisation, accusing the company of repeatedly breaching regulatory requirements. The decision, announced in July 2026, brings to an end a licence that had remained largely dormant since it was first issued
