Prominent activist Aisha Yesufu has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to broaden its anti-corruption efforts beyond high-profile cases like that of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN, warning that selective justice amounts to injustice.
Yesufu made the call in reaction to the Federal High Court in Abuja’s recent order for the final forfeiture of 48 properties linked to Malami.
The activist described the EFCC’s action as commendable but emphasized the need for even-handed enforcement across the board.
“Well done EFCC for this great job! Just so you know, this is a tip of the iceberg from the many reports on the media space,” she stated on her verified X handle.
