Wildfires have been burning across the Spanish province of Ávila since Thursday, forcing the evacuation of residents in Cebreros, Hoyo de Pinares, El Tiemblo, and several surrounding villages. As of Friday evening, the fire near Burgohondo remained the most active front, threatening two additional towns and prompting ongoing evacuations across the region.
