As the film continues to make waves in cinemas, the actress has opened up about the emotional and physical lengths she went to to embody her character, Kemi, a role so intense that it left both her and members of the crew deeply affected.

Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Kate Henshaw and Blessing Obasi revealed that she became so immersed in the role that she was often “broken from the weight of Kemi’s reality” and withdrew into herself between takes.
