NCR, an ICT services company, recorded a 218 percent increase in profit after tax for the first half of 2026, rising to N143.5 million from N44.6 million in the corresponding period of 2025. The strong bottom-line performance was largely driven by a notable year-on-year increase in other income.
Revenue for the period grew by 39 percent compared to H1 2025, with World Customer Services emerging as the primary growth driver. The segment expanded 77 percent year-on-year and now accounts for close to 90 percent of total revenue, underlining its central role in the company’s overall performance.
Gross profit rose 31 percent year-on-year, from N161 million in H1 2025 to N207 million in H1 2026. Cost of sales grew slightly faster, at 39 percent, which moderated gross margin expansion somewhat, even as the absolute profit figure improved.
