The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, has intercepted a 38-year-old South African lady, Will Jessica Ann who attempted to use her three-year-old son to beat security checks and evade thorough screening, covering up 14 large blocks of heroin weighing 5.75 kilograms in her luggage.
Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, in a statement on Sunday, said operatives of the agency at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) Abuja, arrested the lady, after she was found to have concealed 14 large blocks of heroin weighing 5.75 kilograms in her luggage.
According to him, ” The suspect was arrested by NDLEA officers on Monday 6th July 2026 during the inward clearance of passengers on Qatar Airways flight QR 1433 from Doha to Abuja”
