The Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission, Hajiya Salamatu Hussaini, has commended the Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, for what she described as remarkable progress in infrastructure development, education and agriculture across the state.
Salamatu gave the commendation while receiving the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team during a courtesy visit at her residence in Abuja.
She recalled her recent visit to Kebbi State with the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), for the commissioning of the NHRC state office, saying the quality of projects executed by the state government left the delegation impressed.
“I was privileged to go to Kebbi with the Minister of Justice to commission our Commission’s office. Together, we inspected the ultra-modern State Secretariat, and the commendation by the delegation made me proud,” she said.
