A Nigerian woman, Abigail Martins, and her husband have welcomed their first child after 14 years of marriage.
Abigail announced the birth of her baby in a Facebook post on Thursday, sharing maternity photos and expressing gratitude to God for what she described as the end of a long journey of waiting.
Reflecting on the years she spent hoping for a child, she recounted some of the hurtful labels and comments she endured.
She wrote, “I thought when this day comes I am going write a very long epistle of Thanksgiving… Hmm, my words have failed me apparently.
