Nigerian fintech startup Duplo has partnered with Wema Bank to enable seamless financial management for businesses using the ALAT by Wema Bank platform.
Duplo is a financial operating system – built for African businesses – that enables companies to move money, hold funds securely, issue compliant invoices, and automate tax-critical financial workflows on a single platform.
Wema Bank, meanwhile, is a leading Nigerian financial institution. The partnership between the two will give businesses access to Duplo’s financial operations platform, enabling them to automate payments, manage expenses and approvals, generate and collect invoices, and control financial workflows within a single integrated ecosystem.
The integration between Wema Bank and Duplo is designed to help businesses move beyond basic transactional banking into a more structured and streamlined financial operating system. Businesses using ALAT by Wema Bank will gain access to tools including local and international payments, expense management and approvals, invoice generation and collections, vendor payment automation, real-time financial reporting, and financial workflow controls powered by Duplo.
These capabilities will enable companies to move beyond basic banking and operate with a more structured financial operations system. As part of the partnership, existing ALAT business customers will receive three months of free complimentary access to the platform, allowing them to experience its financial automation capabilities at no additional cost.
