Okin Biscuits has restarted one of its production lines at the Offa factory in Kwara State for the first time in 17 years, marking a major step in the Nigerian brand’s comeback, according to an online video posted by the company.
In the video shared on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, machines could be seen running and biscuits moving along a conveyor belt.
Severe economic headwinds and intensified competition from new entrants led to the collapse of the Kwara-based factory in 2009.
