Nigerian mobility startup Treepz has partnered CMS Transport Management (CMS T&M), one of Lagos’ longest-standing transport operators, to launch a new service known as TMO Rides, designed to simplify the daily commute by introducing seamless cashless payments for passengers across its bus network.
Founded in 2019 and known as Plentywaka until its September 2021 rebrand, Treepz operates a digital platform allowing passengers to book daily rides along fixed routes. It also serves as an aggregator for bus travel companies across dozens of cities in Nigeria, allowing transport operators to replace manual servicing and ticketing with digitalised offerings and services.
Treepz has announced a strategic partnership with CMS T&M to modernise public transportation through digital technology to ensure cashless, transparent and more efficient commuting for passengers across CMS – Ajah routes. The partnership brings together Treepz’s transportation technology and CMS T&M’s decades of experience moving passengers.
By integrating Treepz’s digital mobility platforms into CMS T&M’s operations, passengers will enjoy a faster, safer and completely cashless payment experience, while the transport operators gain access to real-time operational insights, digital ticketing and improved revenue management.
The launch of TMO Rides will give passengers access to TMO Cards for seamless transport. Beyond introducing digital fare payments, the initiative reflects CMS T&M’s broader commitment to modernise public transportation through innovation, operational efficiency and improved customer experience.
