Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Gombe State, has issued a strong warning against any attempt to rig or manipulate the upcoming polls, declaring that the party will not tolerate electoral malpractice.
Pantami made the remarks on Wednesday during meetings with PDP members and supporters in Nafada and other local government areas of the state. Speaking in Hausa, he called on the Gombe State Government and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya to ensure a level playing field and transparent process once campaigns commence.
“No one has yet been born who can change our election results in Gombe State,” Pantami asserted. “Not this time around the people will cast their votes, and it will count.”
