The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, has arrested two suspected vandals in separate operations in Kumbotso and Nassarawa Local Government Areas of the state.
The State Commandant, Mohammed Agalama, confirmed the arrests while briefing journalists at the command headquarters in Kano on Monday.
He said, “Our operatives arrested two suspected vandals in separate intelligence-led operations carried out at Panshekara in Kumbotso Local Government Area and Yankaba in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.”
Agalama said the operational success resulted from the command’s sustained efforts to protect Critical National Assets and Infrastructure across the state’s 44 local government areas.
He identified the suspects as Gath Gamaliel, 22, of Zango, Kaduna State, and Salisu Jibrin, 31, a resident of Kurna in Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.
