The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, has arrested two suspected vandals in separate operations in Kumbotso and Nassarawa Local Government Areas of the state.
The NSCDC State Commandant, Mohammed Hassan Agalama, confirmed the arrest of the suspects while briefing newsmen at the state command’s headquarters in Kano on Monday.
“Our operatives arrested two suspected vandals in separate intelligence-led operations carried out at Panshekara in Kumbotso Local Government Area and Yankaba in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
He said the operational success was recorded as a result of the command’s sustained efforts to protect critical national assets and infrastructure across the 44 local government areas of the state.
He gave the names of the suspects as Gath Gamaliel, 22, from Zango, Kaduna State, and Salisu Jibrin, 31, a resident of Kurna, Dala Local Government Area of Kano State.
