NSUBEB Promotion: ‘Promotion must come with greater responsibility’ — Board member tells workers

A member of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) has warned that promotion should come with greater responsibility, urging education workers to improve their performance and commitment to duty.

Full Term Member 1 of NSUBEB, Hon. Abraham Umar, gave the charge while monitoring the ongoing promotion exercise for staff of Local Government Education Authorities (LGEAs) at the Bida LGEA office.

Umar, who was at the centre to monitor the exercise on the directive of the NSUBEB Executive Chairman, Dr Ibrahim A. Liman, met with officials, union representatives and staff from Bida, Katcha and Gbako LGEAs.

He said promotion should not be viewed merely as career progression, but as an opportunity for workers to take on greater responsibility and deliver better results.
