According to data by the World Bank, Yobe State is the second worst hit by 17 years of prolonged activities of Boko Haram insurgency, where thousands of school children were affected, teachers killed, and learning facilities severely affected at the formative stage of the crisis in the Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states respectively.
