Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has taken a swipe at President Bola Tinubu’s administration amid the controversy surrounding the his educational records, insisting that his own academic history can easily be verified.
Amaechi made the remarks on Tuesday during an appearance on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, while reacting to issues surrounding comments directed at Cardinal John Onaiyekan.
The former Rivers State governor said he had classmates from his primary, secondary and university days who could attest to his educational background.
“I don’t have to submit my law degree to INEC. I have classmates. I have classmates in primary school. I can call them now. Christian Obong was my classmate in primary school. I can call my classmates in secondary school,” he said.
