Oral health: A window to overall health

World Hepatitis Day is observed globally on July 28 each year. Endorsed by the World Health Organisation, it raises awareness about viral hepatitis, promotes testing and vaccination, and aims to eliminate the disease as a public health threat.

I took all the vaccines after testing negative for the virus. Please go for testing and get vaccinated.

Sometime last year, I watched an interview with Dr Nathan Bryan, an American biochemist. It was a lengthy one, but I will only talk about an excerpt from it.

He said, “I have never seen a cancer patient who didn’t have an oral infection.”

On this note, I would like us to unravel the link between oral health and overall health.

Oral health is not only essential for a healthy smile, but it also plays a crucial role in your overall health and well-being. Poor oral hygiene can lead to more than just cavities
