Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Thursday inaugurated the newly constructed Oke-Fia flyover in Osogbo, as his cousin, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, urged electorate in the state to be peaceful during the August 15 governorship poll.
The Afrobeat superstar, while addressing the crowd at the event, charged voters to come out en masse and vote for the candidate of their choice without fear.
Davido, while urging the residents to participate actively in the election, also advised them to remain at their polling units after voting to ensure that all lawful votes were counted.
“I want everyone to come out en masse and vote for the candidate of your choice. Stay back and protect your vote, but do so peacefully. Don’t fight anybody. Let your vote speak for you,” Davido said.
