The Diocesan Bishop of the Ijesa North Anglican Diocese in Osun State, Rt. Rev. Isaac Oluyamo, has urged politicians in the state not to allow their differences to become permanent sources of hatred or division.
According to a statement on Friday, the cleric spoke during the opening session of the third session of the fifth Synod of the Diocese, held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Esa-Oke.
Oluyamo, who prayed for the healing of wounded relationships, reconciliation within families, and the restoration of broken friendships, appealed to individuals and families to put the disagreements caused by the last governorship election behind them.
Charging the people to bury all bitterness and embrace reconciliation, the cleric also prayed against accidents, sudden deaths, calamities, and every form of tragedy in the state.
