Political observers are still studying the landscape for clues about where the pendulum may eventually swing, with less than two weeks to the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Although 14 candidates are on the ballot seeking the votes of more than 2.3 million registered voters, the contest has increasingly narrowed to three leading contenders: incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, the immediate past Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, Bola Oyebamiji, and Dr Najeem Salaam, a former Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development at the Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited.
